Dominic and I are cheering on the Cardinals in this picture. Fr. John had the whole family over for the game. We had a great time cheering the Cardinals on in their big win over the Giants!

We started off the weekend by making
pumpkin scones - they turned out great!!!

We then took a walk along the canal near
old town Scottsdale...

And enjoyed "Crave" - a big food event at the Waterfront.

the weekend!

We're pumped for the weekend here in Phoenix. Mary Ellen and Dominic are sleeping right now and when they get up we are going to make pumpkin scones and head to a food festival that is a couple miles from our house - there are cooking exhibitions and supposedly some celebrity chefs, we will see...and later today the michigan - penn state game! Should be a fun day. Here are a few pics and videos. Dominic is definitely much more responsive now - he smiles often when he is playing and it is very nice to get a response:)

The Michigan hat wasn't a favorite of his - or maybe it
was the carseat - hard to tell. We will try the Michigan
hat out for the game today and see. It was a gift from
Grandma Dougoveto!

Enjoying the weekend

We've had a great weekend thus far. This is Dominic after we got home from a fun night at the Weilands. We've mainly tried to catch up on sleep this weekend. Not much news but here are a few random pics from the past couple of days.

Dominic said a hearty goodbye to Grandpa and Grandma Dougoveto this morning. Sad to see them go, but they leave Mom and Dad well rested and with many great meals for the days ahead! It was great to have them here and very helpful.
